He got his first cold (no worry, everyone!)

He got his first cold since Sunday.
He hasn't gotten fever yet but he is coughing and got runny nose.
(Don't worry, though everyone!)

He is wearing his Dr. Seuss hat.
He can blow this whisle toy now! (This is huge for me!)

初めての風邪にかかってしまいました。
鼻水ずるずるでせきが出て辛そう。
自分で鼻をかむ事が出来ないので、夜も息が出来ず泣いて起きたり…。
早く治ってーー。

お遊戯でもらったドクター・スースの帽子。
日本の友達にもらった笛のおもちゃがついに吹けるようになりました！（かなり感動）。
私にしたら息を吹き込む簡単な事なのですが、これが赤ちゃんには難しいらしく、長い間噛んだり息を反対に吸い込んだりしていたのですが、ある日ふーっと出来るようになってからピューピュー吹かしながら自慢げに歩く、というのをしています。

He is SO walking...

So far he took 20 steps and today he stood up without any support. (He gets down and lifts his butt first and stands up, really the most adorable scene).
The photo below is from summer in Japan when we went to kaiten zushi (basically conveyor sushi, sushi plates move around the restaurant on the moving belt so people can pick up whichever items they want to eat). He was SO tiny!
This yellow chair was actually attached to the table so he was sort of in the air.

赤ちゃんは一度覚えたら上達が早い！もう20歩以上歩いています。今日はなんと支え無しで自分で立ち上がりました。（まず4つんばになってお尻を上げてから立ち上がる姿は本当にかわいい）。
下の写真は夏に回転寿司へ行った時のもの。ちいちゃーい。それに顔が全然違う。おもしろいな～。

Happy Valentine's Day!


I don't know if it's just me, but he is just getting cuter and cuter day by day. Everything he does/says is adorable!
I can tell he is almost walking. Last and this week he has been taking 2 or 3 steps (very wobbly, but beautiful!).

He _loves_ his toy bus. One day last week I looked away one second and the next moment he was on the bus on his own. I was So surprised.

Also he started imitating us. He waves if I wave good-bye. He claps hands if I clap my hands and say "yay!" He tilts his head if I tilt mine. We play screaming game constantly. I stuck out my tongue one day (big mistake), now he sticks out his tongue all the time to me and giggles. He seems to be able to play this way forever (and I love to play along!)

１歳になってから更に表情豊かになり、かわいくって仕方がない！
言うことすること毎日大笑いさせてもらっています。
先週と今週はぐらつきながらも２、３歩ステップをふんで、大興奮！
本当の一歩はママは夕飯の後片付け中で見逃したのが悔しかったけど…。
もうすぐ歩くのかな～、そしたら一緒に歩いてお散歩も出来るとわくわくして待っています。

このおもちゃのバスが大好きで、私が乗せて遊んでいたのですが、先週目を離したすきに勝手に一人で乗っているのでびっくり！『自分でまたいで乗ったの？すごーい』と拍手。そしたら自分も真似して拍手していました、かわいいでしょ？

他にもママとパパの真似が出来るようになって、手を振ってバイバイすれば、手を振るし、顔をかたむけると、自分もそうするし。それからママが舌を出して以来、私を見ては舌をべろーん。（それで私ものってやってしまうのがまずいのですが…）。
子供って何でもゲームにしてげらげら笑って本当に毎日一秒一秒が楽しそう。私もその相手が楽しい毎日です。
