Cookie!

His word of the day was "cookieeee"!
We kept saying "cookie" the whole evening :-)
(He has no idea what a cookie is yet. he he he.)

誠の今日の言葉は『クッキー』。（カッキーに聞こえるが）。
夕飯の間クッキー、クッキーと連発してきゃっきゃと喜んでました。
もうすぐおしゃべり出来るよー。

sunglasses

Hehehe, so cute! He loves his sunglasses. He carries it everywhere.
anyway this morning he was talking into the little compartment under the seat of his toy car. I didn't pay attention because he usually kept talking whole day but he continued to talk to it for 5 minutes so I finally looked inside and JUMPED and screamed! He was talking to a little bug with a thousand legs!
I laughed so hard afterwards :-) You get to experience these kinds of unexpected things daily with a little one. It's wonderful..really.

ところで今日の朝誠がおもちゃの車のシートの下の物入れの中に向かって何やらぶつぶつ言っていた。
ほぼ一日中ずっとおしゃべりさんしているので、気にも留めず横で新聞を読んでいたんだけど、5分たってもまだ車に話しかけているので、何?と見てみてビックリした。ムカデみたいな虫に話しかけてたのー。
もうママさんビックリして飛び上がって叫んじゃいましたよー。そうくるとは思わなんだ。
毎日何をしでかすのか面白い反面、ちょっとこわい。

My little 22 month old

Terrible two is starting - he screams and begs for everything!
It's pain in a butt when he clings to my legs when I'm cooking (Worse, he pokes his head through between my legs or puts his toothbrush or toys between my legs...oh why). He begs me to turn on water so he could play at the sink. He looks cute though. Hope he will help me with the dishes soon!

やんちゃ坊主になってきました。気に入らないことがあると奇声を発するのはどうにかなりませんかねー。
料理している時に足にしがみつかれるともう参るよー。危ないし。（ママの足の間から頭を出すのは止めてくれー）。
そしてシンクの水で遊びたいらしくいつもいすを動かしこれをする。
まあそこで遊んでいる間に時間稼ぎ！その間にささっと夕飯を作ってっと。いつもこんな感じです。
いつか皿洗いを手伝っておくれよ。

Walk

We walked on a bike path. It was beautiful!
I guess Darwin took this second picture from the stroller when he was playing with my camera (I didn't know he turned it on and took some till I came home). It came out way better than any of the ones I took! Though, it was followed by tons of asphalt pictures. This one was a miracle shot.

自然いっぱいの散歩コース。
2枚目は誠がストローラーに乗りながら撮ったようです。家に帰ってから写真を見たら変なのがいっぱい写っていて気づきました。私が撮った空の写真より断然美しかったので載せました。奇跡の一枚。

Aquarium

We went to the aquarium today.
Sea lions were SO cute!
That penguin was very playful.
(By the way, do you see that there are 3 plugs going into the outlet? The middle one is apparently the result of Darwin trying to plug in my laptop... See that's why a baby-proof outlet cover is a necessity! We laughed out loud hours later when we noticed it, though)

水族館へ行ってきました。
ペンギンがちょこちょこ歩いてかわいかった～。
（最初の写真でコンセントから３つのコードが出ているのが見えますか？誠がプラグを差し込もうとした模様。赤ちゃん用のコンセントカバーがしてあるとはいえ、こわいよ～。やめてくれー。チビ就寝後、このブログを更新しようとして気づいたよ。結構笑えたが）。

もうすぐハロウィーン！
今年はスーパーマンの格好をさせちゃいました。
上を向いて『出動?』みたいな目をしてますねえ。
ママは毎日このかわいいスーパーマンに助けられてますよん。

Happy 30th

Daddy turned 30! Happy Birthday, daddy! (Also my mom - Darwin's grandma - turned 61! Happy Birthday, grandma!)

Darwin solved Rubik's cube in 1 minute! Darwin's dad carries Rubik everywhere he goes - he can solve it within 30 seconds (mukatsuku)...
It would take me probably 30 years. I cannot stand not being able to win any game with him. I only won twice with Pentago last night. Argh, my brain.

10月は私の大切な人2人の誕生日の月。今年パパは30歳になりました。そして誠のおばあちゃんは61歳に。お誕生日おめでとう～。

誠がルービックキューブで遊んでいるところ。もちろんぐるぐるやってるだけですよん。
パパは常にこれを持ち歩いている人で（もう何年目なのー。うざくなってきてる笑）30秒以内に解けちゃいます。ハンガリーのルービックキューブ大会行けって言うんだけど、上には上がいるらしく俺は遅い方、だと言っています。どんな世界なんじゃ。ちなみに私は多分30年経ってもまだやってるね。
ゲーム系は本当に勝てなくて泣けてくるよ。昨日の夜はPentagoで2回しか勝てんかった。
